Q. What time is check-in and where do I go?

A. Check-in begins at 8am where you'll go to the alphabetical roster, find your name, team and jersey #, then go to your coach on the field where you'll meet your team and receive your jersey.

Q. Where are the fields and parking?

A.  Directions to UNH's new state-of-the-art "Super Field" are available under the "Driving and Staying" section of this website.

Q. What equipment should I bring?
A. You'll be playing on a brand new all-weather field turf complex, so bring your cleats, any extra laces, mouthguards, etc. you would take to any other game. If you protective eyewear, make sure it complies with US Field Hockey regulations (no metal allowed).

Q. Where can I get lunch, snacks and drinks?
A. There are several delis and restaurants located in downtown Durham. There will also be a fast-food concession stand at the sight.

Q. Is housing provided?
A. No. Players requiring accommodations will need to reserve a room at one of the area's many hotels. We have reserved a limited block of rooms at the nearby New England Center -- details are under the Driving and Staying link at right -- so don't wait too long if you're interested.

Q. I am currently a sophomore. Can I apply?
A. Yes. Though the NEPFH Showcase is ideally designed for junior class players who are eligible by NCAA rules to be approached by college coaches, recommended sophomores can be accepted with the understanding that they are attending NEPFH to "get into the recruiting loop" and acquaint themselves with a recruiting opportunity that will benefit them in the future. We project that sophomores will account for 25%-30% of the total number of players.

Q. My parents will be bringing me. Other then watching my games, is there much for them to do in the area?
A. The New Hampshire seacoast area is a major vacation attraction with beaches only miles away. There are also numerous outlet-shopping opportunities, plus antiquing, golf and much more. Be sure to check out the historic city of Portsmouth.
